Retractable Electrode Holder

Endress+Hauser, Inc. is a retractable electrode holder for pH measurement that can be utilized in pipes or tanks under sterile measuring conditions. The holder is effective wherever very precise sanitary requirements must be fulfilled, while also providing the pH data that is critical to product quantity and quality during food processing.

The electrode can be sterilized, calibrated or cleaned without interrupting the manufacturing process, eliminating the downtime that is required with other methods. Automatic cleaning or sterilization can also be achieved by pairing the retractable holder with the company's Autoclean system.

The electrode is effective in applications where the pH electrodes cannot be removed between batches, but must be kept wet. The holder also works well when measurement must be carried out in very sticky media.

All parts of the electrode that contact the process stream are made of 316 L stainless steel. The electrode meets 3A sanitary standards and carries EHEDG approval.
