Quiznos' Cheesesteak Is Real Prime Rib And Twice As Much Meat As Subway's Cheesesteak

Denver, CO - In its most aggressive and competitive advertising campaign in the history of the company, Quiznos is taking on competitor Subway with the launch of Quiznos' new Prime Rib Cheesesteak -- made with real prime rib and twice as much meat as Subway's Cheesesteak. The new campaign asks consumers to take the new Quiznos Prime Rib Cheesesteak Challenge and decide -- if not 100% satisfied -- consumers get a free sub added Quiznos.

According to Quiznos the ad campaign depicts real people on the street being asked to look at the Quiznos Prime Rib Cheesesteak vs. the Subway Cheesesteak and decide what Cheesesteak sandwich they would choose. The comparison test was conducted and overseen by independent auditors who purchased both Subway and Quiznos sandwiches at the same time. The sandwiches that were purchased were presented on a tray unwrapped and untouched from the way they came out of the sandwich wrapper.

"The quality of all of Quiznos products has always been a cut above our competition and our new Cheesesteak sub is made with tender, juicy prime rib, roasted with the perfect blend of spices and then thinly sliced and topped with melted Swiss cheese and sauteed onions. All these ingredients give our new sandwich a unique flavor that's unlike any Cheesesteak sandwich you have ever tasted," said Rick Schaden, Quiznos Chief Executive Officer. "I feel so strongly that our new Prime Rib Cheesesteak is better in quality and abundance than Subway's that I am spreading the news to consumers and offering them a 100% satisfaction guarantee or they get a free sub from Quiznos."
