High Performance Slicing

Formax®'s FX180® Slicing and Autoloading System is differentiated by its speed and ability to slice at greater temperature variances. These features are made possible by the slicer's patented Fx® Blade technology that can lower energy costs by significantly reducing the need for crust freezing. The FX180® Autoloader further improves food safety and product shelf life by minimizing handling.

Productivity is maximized by the slicer's multiple-loaf capabilities and large 178mm X 355mm capacity. Formax®'s dual or triple independent weighing and classifying system ensures accurate weight control and conveys on-weight product to the Autoloader for automated package loading.

The open stainless steel construction of FX180® Slicer promotes hygiene and food safety. Accessible from all sides, the FX180® Slicing and Autoloading System is CE-approved. The slicer features a control panel that automatically collects and displays statistical weight data in various languages. Its programmable product menu stores slicing information on more than 100 products with up to 34 specifics per product for efficient production. It is available in Backclamp and Continuous Feed models.

The FX180® Autoloader complements the slicer's performance and minimizes handling. Drafts or stacks are loaded in synchronization with any packaging machine. A buffering capacity facilitates continuous packaging machine operation. Formax®'s new auxiliary equipment includes the FX180® Horsing System, FX180® Overlap System and FX180® Transfer System.
