Dubreton Of Quebec, Canada Will Install QF+ Freezing System

duBreton of Riviere-du-Loup, Quebec, CANADA will install Tippmann Innovations QF+ In-Rack Freezing System this week. As an exporter of pork to China, duBreton was challenged to meet Chinese export guidelines, requiring all pork products to be frozen at 5°F within a 48 hour time frame from the start of the freezing process. Their current blast freezing methods achieved freeze times in 72 hours.

This past winter, Tippmann Innovation conducted a QF+ demo test at the duBreton facility. The test used data loggers that measured time and temperature with results of 5°F in 35.83 hours and -4°F in 48 hours. As a result of these findings, duBreton ordered 216 pallet positions of QF+. duBreton will implement the QF+ system upon completion of the accelerated installation.

Tippmann Innovation’s QF+ In-Rack Freezing System replaces traditional blast freezing methods. Its innovative design pulls air through the product delivering predictable and consistent freezing instead of blasting air around the pallet, a method that produces ineffective results. Additionally, QF+ can also reduce energy costs by up to as much as 50%.

Tippmann Innovation partner, Rob Adams, expressed his excitement about the company’s first Canadian installation of QF+. We are proud to partner with duBreton, as our first QF+ system installation in Canada. We appreciate the company’s founding values: respect for nature, respect for animals and, most important, respect for customers and consumers.
