ALUphane is a decorative film that is a viable alternative to cellophane because it has the same affinity for crinkle and deadfold, and is available in bright colors like yellow, orchid, pink, blue, amber, green and red, along with clear.
ALUphane is a decorative film that is a viable alternative to cellophane because it has the same affinity for crinkle and deadfold, and is available in bright colors like yellow, orchid, pink, blue, amber, green and red, along with clear. Colors can be custom matched and a metallized twist wrap film is on development.
The film, with its slits, rolls, prints and forms, is used to wrap gift baskets and trays of food, for example. Its newest product is a gift bag that can act as a stand-alone shrink-wrap package. Unlike other colored wraps made from polypropylene, the color in this film will not contaminate food sue to the use of K-Resin styrene-butadiene copolymer (SBC) and a proprietary five-layer film structure.
