Alkar Direct Digital Control System ensures accurate process control and complete HACCP documentation for Batch Processing Ovens. The DDC includes operator and batch ID codes, which are stored automatically with the process log files, and records any process interruptions or changes. Now the Alkar DDC collects and stores key information for the processor instead of relying on the operator to make manual notes. This data can be easily printed, or downloaded to a disk for analysis or HACCP recordkeeping.
The Alkar DDC uses 4 RTD probes, which ensure greater accuracy in achieving internal temperatures, which are Critical Control Points. This increased control improves yield consistency, and the DDC is much easier and faster to calibrate. Built-in alarms and self- diagnostic programming in the Alkar DDC reduces oven downtime and protects product quality. Automated CIP programs can also be controlled through the DDC to ensure consistency and document the sanitation procedures.
