ColorFlex Color Measurement System

HunterLab introduces the ColorFlex color measurement system. This system is completely self-contained, including built-in software. With its many features and options, it can be used for basic color measurement or more sophisticated applications in the food industry. Dual-beam xenon flash technology plus choice of diffuse/8° or 45°/0° optical geometry assures accurate measurements based on application and sample type. For product- or customer-specific applications, ColorFlex offers 99 setup configurations for customizing display outputs, tolerances, and indices.

With port-up or port-forward measurement orientation, a variety of sample-handling accessories and a port plate for wet samples, ColorFlex can adapt to measuring the color of many different types of food samples, including powders, pastes, pellets, and opaque or translucent liquids or solids. It can be used for quality control of incoming raw materials, verification of finished product color, or for monitoring color throughout the production process. ColorFlex has the capability to output data to compatible printers for archiving data or reporting results. With an optional transportability kit, it can be used in the field without AC power. Our color management systems are available as bench-top, portable, and on-line systems that include both hardware and software.
