Chopper Pump

The Vortex Chopper chops, mixes, blends and discharges large volumes of solids with minimal water added in a batch process. For example, the chopper can handle up to 200 whole waste chickens at once—feathers and all. The recirculating chopping action reduces the birds to a slurry in which the largest particle size is ½ in. The resultant slurry can have enzymes added, or can be processed further to reduce the solids to protein for a safe and reusable waste. The pump model H4R6 is specially modified to process the high concentration of whole birds at once.
