Brine Systems

SCANIO's brine preparation system SCANBRINE revolutionizes the way brines are manufactured. The required amount of water is placed into the circular tank. A large capacity centrifugal pump in sanitary execution is then started, and the water in the mixing tank is circulated through a pipe system and an ingenious "Venturi" placed underneath the dry matter hopper. This creates a vacuum by which the dry matters poured into the hopper are "sucked" into the water. Since water travels at a very high speed the mixing of the dry matters is immediate and effective.

The dry matter hopper is placed at an ergonomically correct height to make handling easier. The system ensures a completely homogeneous mix without lumps and any introduction of air into the brine. Dust from the dry matters is absorbed by the vacuum created by the "Venturi". After the addition of the dry matters is complete, the brine is pumped over to a storage tank by means of a mixing pump where it is kept until needed for consumption. Brine is pumped over to consumption by a transfer pump. The mixing tank is then cleaned and the next batch prepared.
