Wausau Paper Extends Its Environmentally Preferable EcoSelect Specialty Products Line

Mosinee, WI - Wausau Paper recently announced an expansion of its Specialty Products line of EcoSelect environmentally preferable papers with the introduction of new natural-fiber-based ProRedi Professional Baking Papers.

Wausau's co-branded ProRedi and EcoSelect natural-fiber baking pan liner papers are designed for demanding commercial bakery, foodservice, restaurant, deli, or home use. These papers are FDA-compliant, kosher-certified, and available in both bulk and sheeted packaging.

EcoSelect papers are supported by environmentally responsible manufacturing and renewable energy. Up to 50 percent of the energy required to create the exclusive natural-fiber, chlorine free pulp is renewable, generated from bio-fuels and hydro electric power within Wausau's facilities. Documented sustainable forestry practices, energy conservation, wise water use and waste reduction programs also support EcoSelect products.
