MULTIVAC At FoodTech In Barcelona, 8 - 11 May 2018: ‘Better Packaging And Processing' For Food Production

At FoodTech, in Barcelona on May 8 - 11, MULTIVAC, in Hall 4, shows C 315, a wide cross section of its packaging solutions for the food industry. Focusing points are MULTIVAC's effective solutions for slicing, processing and packaging of fresh meat, specific packaging concepts for small and medium-sized food production, labeling, quality control and the company's extensive customer service.

MULTIVAC's solutions for the meat and chark industry now also include upstream processing equipment for slicing of carcasses and meat-sharing systems. The slicing equipment is shown with a control scale and an R 126 depth sounder, suitable for just chark products. For fresh meat processing, MULTIVAC GMS 500 Portion System and GMS 1600 Twin System show off TVI. These are complemented by packaging equipment designed for fresh meat with traction alloy T 600 and chamber machine B 510, as well as the high performance deep draft R 515. The R515 is fully customized prepackage of fresh meat.

In order to meet the requirements of small and medium-sized manufacturers, a range of compact machines are also displayed. The depths R 085 and R 105 as well as the traction alloy T 300 are all intended for automated production on a smaller scale. In addition, the C 500 and C 200 chamber machines are displayed. In the labeling and quality control sector, MULTIVAC presents the flexible bandwriter L 310, the cost-effective X-ray inspection system BASELINE I 100 and I 410, which is ideal for a wide range of inspection tasks, eg. Check the filling rate label position or print check on each package.

It is also focusing on presenting the extensive aftermarket service offered by MULTIVAC. In addition to a presentation of MULTIVAC's own production of original spare parts, a touchscreen with the Webshop application will be in place to illustrate the easy ordering process for spare parts.
