New ThermoTrace®: The World's First Waterproof Infrared Thermometer Has Memory Feature and Alarm Settings

PLEASANTON, CA - DeltaTRAK, Inc., a leader in the manufacture of portable test instruments for the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, HVAC/R and other industries, announces its new Waterproof ThermoTrace Infrared Thermometer with several features unique to an infrared thermometer. The unit is completely waterproof (IP67 compliant). It can be washed and sanitized for applications in multiple industries such as the food industry. It even operates under water. It functions in either a normal (press the measure button) or a continuous reading mode (not necessary to hold down the button). Alarm points can be set for high and low temperature limits and a memory function holds up to 99 points of temperature data. Advanced optical features include a 15:1 field of view, pin point laser sighting of an object as small as 2.6" (66.7mm) in size at 1 meter, and a temperature range of 32°F to 932°F/ 0°C to 500°C. It is designed for instant, non-contact surface temperature measurement, and can be used to read temperatures of moving parts or to check surfaces in hard-to-reach places. The ThermoTrace Waterproof Infrared Thermometer is NIST traceable and carries the CE mark.
