High Speed Sealer For Meat Supplier

A recent installation of PA’s Revolution tray sealer at West Midlands based meat supplier Central Food Services has dramatically improved the efficiencies of their foil tray sealing line. Central Food Services is a privately owned business based in the West Midlands producing a wide range of value added meat products, processing beef, lamb, pork and poultry supplying the leading names in retail, food service and manufacturing sectors.

The Revolution is the fastest most energy efficient single lane tray sealing machine on the market and features PA’s Powerdrive fully electric technology. Interpolated multi axis robotic motion ensures a continuous flow of trays through the machine from infeed to outfeed eliminating any need for pauses or buffering allowing the throughput of 150 packs per minute. The seal force has been increased by 300% compared to pneumatic systems however PA’s novel technology allows the tool lift mechanism to be deactivated during the seal process therefore significantly reducing the energy usage. This additional seal force has allowed Central Food Services to seal through product contamination on their foil lines and allowed them to improve the overall efficiencies of the line.
