Royal Food Products, a manufacturer of fine dressing and sauces, had a decision to make: Continue with less than satisfactory portion control using flow meters or find some method of weighing an individual ingredient tank while hard piped to several adjacent supply tanks.  In 2009 Royal’s Plant Engineer, Jerry Shemwell, turned to Sartorius load cells for a workable solution.
