CRYIUBFRA Purchases GTP LO-CAT® H2S Removal Technology

Gas Technology Products LLC announces sale of LO-CAT® Hydrogen Sulfide Oxidation Treatment Plant to CRYOINFRA, S.A de C.V. (Air Products) for removal of hydrogen sulfide from carbon dioxide for food and beverage use.

Schaumburg, IL — A LO-CAT® Hydrogen Sulfide Oxidation Treatment Plant has been purchased by CRYOINFRA, S.A. de C.V. (Air Products) to remove hydrogen sulfide from carbon dioxide used in food and beverage production at its Puebla, Mexico, facility. Scheduled for start-up in the third quarter of 2005, this LO-CAT unit will treat 267 metric tons per day of CO2, with a maximum sulfur load of 363.44 kilograms per day (801.25 pounds per day).

CRYOINFRA will receive performance guarantees from Gas Technology Products LLC which include sulfur removal capacity of 0.36 ton per day and hydrogen sulfide removal efficiency of 99.9% (1 ppm H2S in the treated gas).
