Beveled Food Processing Blades Are Offered In 3.95-12 In. Sizes
Southbridge, MA - Now available in a more extensive array of sizes ranging from 3.95" (100 mm) to 12" (304.8 mm), MeatMiser Generation II Food Processing Blades from Hyde Industrial Blade Solutions (IBS) reduce waste and improve per piece yield for meat and poultry processors. Hyde has tripled the size of its in-stock line of these blades to accommodate more machines and operations found in plants for quick shipment and delivery.
Hyde Meat Miser Generation II Food Processing Blades are engineered for maximum performance and minimal waste with deeper "arcuates" or "swooping teeth" than earlier blades for a cleaner and more aggressive cutting action. The blades' beveled edges replace more traditional scallop-edge blades that can rip or tear the meat and are slower through the cut. The arcuates enter the cut gently along the long arc without tearing into the food to be processed, slicing the meat cleanly. In all types of cuts, these blades reduce waste and rework by poor cuts, cutting rework costs and increasing output and finished product net weight.
These blades are made of 400-series grade stainless steel and are heat treated for durability and long life. Hyde Meat Miser Generation II Food Processing Blades have a double bevel (each side is beveled) and the bevel on each side has a compound bevel (two different bevel angles) for increased efficiency and productivity. Unlike their predecessors, these blades can be re-sharpened on standard sharpening equipment for higher cost efficiency and longer-life in the field.
Starting with a wide range of the highest grade alloy steels including powdered metals, Hyde employs proprietary processes in blanking, laser cutting, heat treating, grinding and polishing to ensure superior cutting performance of each individual blade. Manufactured in facilities with ISO 9001:2008 plant certification, durable Hyde IBS Food Processing Blades are engineered for long-life.
