Ampco Pumps Company Introduces The ZP3 Pump

An Innovation to the Sanitary Pump Market

Ampco Pumps Company announces the debut of the new ZP3 positive displacement pump. The patented ZP3 is a true innovation to the sanitary pump market.

“Ampco Pumps Company is excited to introduce the patented front loading seal design for ZP series pumps. This seal is designed to 3A standards and has passed the stringent EHEDG clean ability requirements. In addition to being fully “clean in place”, the seal can be serviced without the need to remove the rotor body and piping. Also, the front loading nature of the seal eliminates the “dead zone’ in the shaft bore. Existing ZP2 pumps (and competitors’ pumps) can be upgraded to the ZP3 design with new rotors, new seals and re-machining the existing rotor case.” explains Bob Garner, Engineering Manager.

The ZP3 offers a standard stainless steel four mount gear case. ZP3 gear cases are 100% interchangeable with the ZP2 pump and competing models. The ZP3 is suitable for sanitary applications including bakery, candy, dairy, meats, cosmetics and more. All of the features of the new ZP3 eliminate downtime, save money and reduce inventory expense.

Ampco Pumps sets itself apart from the competition by providing more standard features than our competitors, quick shipment, and pumps that can be customized to the application. Ampco Pumps Company continues to deliver quality products, excellent customer service and best pricing in the industry on all of our pumps and parts.

Ampco Pumps will be exhibiting at the following trade shows in 2013: Drinktec-Munich, Pack Expo-Las Vegas and Process Expo-Chicago.
