Esas Purchases Zorlu Meat Processing Facilities

Esas Holding, a young, dynamic and innovative venture capital company formed in 2000, after entering the dried nuts market with its new purchase of Peymar, has also acquired Zorlu Holding’s meat processing facilities in Antalya, Guney Gida. The name of the company, marketing meat products under the brand name Lezz-Et, has been changed into Esas Gida but the catchy brand name remains.

In addition to that, Esas is planning to set up presence in the "ready food" sector in partnership with a well-known French food company by the end of this year. Esas Holding has entered 3 new businesses consecutively in a month.

To raise new capital for the company’s further growth strategy, the vice chairwoman of the board, Emine Kamisli, announced about the holding’s intend to go public and list on Istanbul Stock Exchange in the near future, but she did not refer to any specific dates as for the initial public offering (IPO).
